5th floor Terrace View Room – various configurations available:
     Theatre Style – capacity 60 guests
     Classroom Style – capacity 35 guests
     Boardroom Style – capacity 29 people
     Roundtable Style – capacity 36 people      
     U-shape Style – capacity 28 guests
     Cocktail Style – capacity 70 guests

4th floor primary boardroom – various configurations available:
     Theatre Style – capacity 20 guests
     Classroom Style – capacity 18 guests
     Boardroom Style – capacity 16 people

4th floor secondary boardroom – capacity 8 guests (boardroom)

Main floor boardroom – capacity 8 guests (boardroom)

4th floor business desks – 17 desks

3rd floor business desks – 17 desks

What costs are associated with using the Global Business Centre services?
Costs vary depending on the services you require. Prices are available upon request.

What types of services are included with the temporary business desk space?
Use of this space includes a telephone for local or calling card calls.
Additional services are available for an incurred fee:

  • Wireless internet connection
  • Laptop connection for printing purposes
  • Computer use
  • Administrative assistance
  • Document and printing services

Is there a maximum amount of time that an organization can use the temporary business desks?
Current rental periods are daily, weekly and monthly.  Any special requests will be quoted separately.

Is there a limit to the number of temporary business desks one organization can occupy?
Typical requirements are one to two persons per organization at a time, but we recognize that organizations have individual needs.  For any special requests, please contact Vanessa Wright, Team Assistant, Global Business Centre at 403.767.1300 or vwright@calgaryeconomicdevelopment.com

Do I need to pre-book a temporary business desk?

Are catering services available for meetings and events?
Yes, we provide catering from Calgary’s premier restaurants and hotels.

Does the Global Business Centre provide outreach programs?
Yes, we conduct seminars and training sessions throughout Southern Alberta.
