Calgary’s International Airport services approximately 50 airlines, providing direct access to Asia, Europe and the United States.

Two of North America’s major highway systems pass through Calgary: the Canamex Corridor, which extends from Northern Canada to Mexico, and the Trans-Canada Highway, which links Canada’s Pacific and Atlantic coasts.

Calgary is a major warehousing, transportation and logistics hub for all of northwestern North America, distributing agricultural, energy and manufactured goods to a market of 50 million people living within a one-day’s drive. Manufactured goods from outside Alberta are brought to the Calgary hub, and then re-distributed to other Canadian, U.S., and global markets.

Municipalities throughout Southern Alberta are connected by a well-maintained highway and truck distribution network, and in many cases, by commuter bus service to Calgary.

Within the city, a light rail public transit system is just steps from the front door of the Global Business Centre.
